I developed a radiation tolerant electrical subsystem for the ROMEO satellite Mission. Tolerant to a radiation dose of 35krad, my circuits will fly to Medium-Earth-Orbit in 2025, providing a redundant attitude acquisition system with over 700 electrical components.

Next to my studies I completed an international project in cooperation with the SSAU University, improving on the thermodynamic efficiency of aircraft engines by alterting their regulatory loops. Also, mechanical adjustments where made to lower the required maintenance time.

My activity in circuit design started out as a hobby, creating my own circuits and helping to repair computers from the 60s/70s at my local computer museum. Later reinforced by my university courses and by succesfully completed projects, I became a proficient electrical engineer.

I've written many Desktop and embedded applications in C++, C#, Lua, Assembly and Basic in the past. While I have been a passionate self-taught coder for over 10 years, I worked for 2 years in a virtual reality company, as well as 2 years in the embedded sector.

Knowing your tools and the processes used to bring your ideas to life is essential in engineering. I know how to bring the ideal schematic to a PCB, making sure my ideas can be realized with the available technology in the real world.

I graduated in my engineering degree in the aviation and space industry. The 5 year long study included thermodynamic and aerodynamic design, as well as mechanical, electrical and system engineering. All disciplines are of course applicable to other industries as well.
